Studio 90 Transmission Line  

The STUDIO 90 TL is our flagship, the audiophile high point of our loudspeaker program.  

It plays everything: Classical, live, jazz. music. In our demonstration program Rock, Pop and House-Music are just as successfully reproduced. Fewer loudspeaker designs can as accurately reproduce the sound of kick drums. The legendary TDL oval bass driver performs completely "stress-free" into the deepest registers: 20 Hz with ease.  

Even at quiet levels our Studio 90TL masters the lowest frequencies. Only a few loud- speakers can play at lower than 30 Hz and then only at loud levels. The special AOS/ScanSpeak driver 18W16545K is an ingenious design and one of the best being built today. The paper carbon diaphragm is so large that it could be voiced more than one octave lower. The diaphragm is so unstressed that it could play problem free well into the range of the tweeter. The small ScanSpeak Revelator tweeter 2905/9700 with a rectangular front plate is used. This is the driver which Klang und Ton magazine chose as the best over all non-ferrous-fluid tweeters tested. Why the rectangular shape? Because we can then locate the tweeter about 8mm closer to the midbass driver.
