Gli HiFi PC sono gli unici se dotati di schede adeguate a poter offrire il vero RGB. 

I lettori dvd non escono in vero RGB ma solo in component con connettori RGB o scart. 

L'RGB usa frequenze >24KHZ che troviamo solo negli HTPC e nei proiettori CRT.E comunque poi rimane il limite della trasmissione e della registrazione su DVD. 

La miglior qualita' oggi possibile e sfruttabile e' la component che esce dai lettori dvd e dai decoder HDTV (1080 linee contro le 625 pal) in qualita' ancora superiore. 

Un dvd ha una bassa risoluzione,superata da qualsiasi proiettore(720x576). 

Mentre le trasmissioni htdv sono ben superiori arrivando a 1920 x 1080. 

Per ottenere una qualita' cosi' elevata occorrono proiettori molto sosfisticati e costosi e un PCHT ben realizzato(usano gli scaler per aumentare la risoluzione). 

Progressive scan: solo con proiettori i quali supportano i 31,2khz di scansione,non in comuni televisori che vanno a 15,625 khz.L'HDTV va' a 30khz.
